ComicFlow vs MANGA Plus
Both let you read comics. The difference is what happens after you have paid.
ComicFlow
$4.99/month
- One subscription covers the whole catalog.
- No currency, no passes, no timers — ever.
- Free opening episodes on every premium series, no account needed.
- Or $3.99 to own one series outright, with no subscription at all.
or $49 a year — two months free
MANGA Plus
$1.99/month
- Free with ads, plus a flat subscription in two tiers — their plans sell access, not a currency.
- The entry tier: on it, completed series stop being readable after a while, and the tier that keeps them costs the same as our own subscription. First month free, prices are the U.S. ones, and their page notes select ads may still show to subscribers.

What MANGA Plus does better
- Official Shueisha translations published the same day as Japan, by the publisher that owns the work rather than by fans.
- They pay the creators of what they publish, because they are the publisher.
- At the tier that costs what we do, they carry over 23,000 chapters of licensed manga.
Written plainly because it is true. If that is what you want, go and read it there — we would rather be the honest option than the only one you were shown.
How we keep this honest
Everything above is published by MANGA Plus, read from the page linked here on the date shown. We never strike through a price of our own to make it look like a discount, and we do not run introductory rates that rise later. If something on this page is out of date, tell us and it gets fixed.
