Content policy

1. What this catalogue is

Licensed, professionally produced comics — manhwa and manga — much of it explicit. Everything is drawn fiction. There is no photographic or filmed material of real people anywhere in the catalogue, and no user-uploaded work: nobody can publish here, so nothing arrives without passing through licensing first.

Every character depicted in a sexual context is an adult. Where a work’s original presentation left that ambiguous, we do not carry it.

2. What we refuse

These are not moderated case by case. They are refused as categories, and the refusal is enforced in the database rather than by policy alone — a work carrying one of these labels cannot be published here even by mistake:

• any sexual depiction of a minor, or of a character presented as one;
• sexual violence presented approvingly, or as entertainment in itself;
• incest;
• bestiality;
• content depicting a real, identifiable person in a sexual context;
• anything unlawful where we operate.

This list is not a summary of a longer internal one. It is the list, and it does not move for a licensing deal.

3. Age gating

Adult artwork is covered until you confirm you are 18. That confirmation is a setting you can turn off again at any time from your settings, and turning it off re-covers the artwork everywhere.

We do not verify age documents, and we are not going to pretend a checkbox is verification. If the law where you are requires more than this, do not use the service.

4. Reporting something

If you believe something here breaks §2, tell us and we will look at it the same day. Email hello@comicflow.net with the series and, if you can, the episode. You do not need to explain who you are.

Anything credibly reported under §2 is made unreadable while we check, not after. We would rather take down a work that turns out to be fine than leave one up that is not.

5. If a work is yours

We license what we carry. If you hold rights in something here and believe we should not, write to hello@comicflow.net with:

• the series, and the URL;
• what right you hold, and enough to show it is yours;
• a statement that you believe the use is not authorised;
• how to reach you.

We remove first and correspond after. If we remove something you bought outright, we refund it — see the refund policy.

6. Changes

§2 is a floor. We may add to it; we do not intend ever to subtract from it, and if we did, this page and its date are where you would see it.
