Accessibility
Three settings that change how the whole app renders, applied the moment you pick them. They stay on this device and work whether or not you have an account.
Contrast
Pure black behind pure white, with every card edge and divider drawn as a solid line instead of a hairline. Turns off the reader’s ambient tint, which works by colouring that background.
Multiplied onto whatever text size your phone or browser is already set to, rather than replacing it. Comic panels are pictures and do not scale — this sizes the interface around them.
Typeface
Illegible I l 1 · O 0 · rn m — a sample of the pairs that get confused.
Atkinson Hyperlegible, drawn by the Braille Institute to pull apart characters that look alike at low acuity. We don’t call it a dyslexia font: whether such fonts measurably help is still contested, and this is about letter shapes we can point at.

Reading mode, page direction, brightness and the ambient tint are per-series and live in the reader itself — open any episode and use the settings button in its controls. Motion is already reduced automatically when your device asks for it. If something here still doesn’t work for you, your account page has a way to reach us.
