Privacy policy
We store what the product needs to work — your place in a series, your library, your subscription — and nothing to sell on. Reading is not advertising inventory here.

1. Who controls your data
COMIC CULTURE LTD, trading as ComicFlow, at the address at the foot of this page. For questions or requests, write to hello@comicflow.net.
2. What we store, and why
Because you have an account: your email address, and the identifier your sign-in provider gives us if you used Google or Apple. We never receive your password from them, and we do not store one of our own — sign-in is a link or a code sent to your email, or a provider redirect.
Because you read: which episode and scene you stopped at, what you have opened, what you saved to your library, what you bookmarked, and any rating you gave. This is what makes your place resume on another device. It is tied to your account, and if you use the site signed out it stays in your browser and never reaches us.
Because you pay: your subscription status, plan, renewal date, and the reference for anything you bought outright. We never see or store your card details — those go directly to Stripe and stay there.
Because things break: a short-lived error log, and product events that tell us whether the software works: a paywall was shown, a checkout started or returned, an episode was finished, a series was rated, the age setting was turned on or off. Those records name the series and the episode, not you as a person beyond the account they belong to.
The age setting is a cookie. It records only that you said you were 18, and it is the one thing standing between you and adult artwork, so it has to persist. It carries no other information.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share your reading history with anyone.
- We do not run advertising, and there are no advertising trackers on the site.
- We do not build a profile of you for anyone else’s benefit.
- We do not put what you read into an email subject line, a push notification title, or anything else that shows on a locked screen beyond the series you asked to follow.
4. Who else processes it
Three, and only for the job named:
- Supabase — the database and the sign-in system. It holds everything in §2 except payment data.
- Stripe — payments. It receives your email and the amount, and it holds the card details we never see.
- Vercel — hosting, plus aggregate traffic measurement that counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual readers.
Each is bound to process data only on our instructions. We add to this list by changing this page, not quietly.
5. How long we keep it
Account and reading data for as long as the account exists. Payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is longer than the account and is not something we can shorten on request. Error logs and product events are pruned on a rolling basis and are not kept indefinitely.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting the account deletes the reading history with it. Write to hello@comicflow.net from the account address and we will act within 30 days.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to ask for it to be restricted, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Please tell us first if you can — it is usually faster.
7. Children
This service is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly hold data about a child. If you believe we do, tell us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we update this page and the date at the top. Material changes are announced on the site.
